The Lightner Museum has a fantastic package option to make planning an intimate wedding in St. Augustine easier than ever before! The Intimate Wedding Package is offered for select Fridays and Sundays in 2023 and 2024 (holiday weekends excluded) with a guest count of 100 people or less. We've teamed up with some of our key vendors to make the package as all-inclusive as possible. Get ready to receive the full Lightner experience at an incredible value!

THE VENUE
Your venue package includes exclusive access for 10 hours for your reception or ceremony and reception to the following venue spaces:
Historic Pool
The Historic Pool once served as the center of the entertainment complex for the Hotel Alcazar. The pool has been drained for quite some time, but the stunning architecture remains. The three-story ceiling and majestic twin staircases serve as a stunning backdrop for wedding ceremonies and receptions.
Mezzanine
The second level overlooking the Historic Pool provides the perfect space for cocktail hour when paired with the Outdoor Terrace while the first floor is being transformed for your dinner service.
Outdoor Terrace
This spacious outdoor area is the ideal spot for beautiful wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours, and grand exits.
Otto Lightner Lounge
The Otto Lightner Lounge is a warm and entertaining suite with plenty of seating, mirrors, a beverage station, a foosball table, a flat-screen TV, and a dart board.
Maria Jefferson Lounge
The Maria Jefferson Lounge is a luxurious and well-appointed suite with makeup stations, a beverage station, full-length mirrors, and a lounge seating area.
Grand Lobby & First Level Exhibits*
*The Grand Lobby & First Level Exhibits can be added on for an additional fee.
With its exquisite crystal chandeliers and arched windows, the Grand Lobby is a lovely space for pre-reception cocktails or an intimate ceremony. The first floor of the museum’s eclectic collection of antiquities is also available for your guests to enjoy during cocktail hour.

DEDICATED EVENT MANAGER
Your event manager works with you and your wedding coordinator to seamlessly assist with venue-related planning. They are also your venue team leader on event day.
SUPPORT STAFF
A multitude of support staff are on hand the day of your event to greet guests, complete set up, open doors, transition spaces, and maintain cleanliness.

VENDOR PARTNERS
DAY-OF WEDDING COORDINATION
A certified wedding coordinator will be selected for you from the Intimate Wedding Package list. They will guide you through the planning process and use their expertise to execute your dream wedding! Coordinator will begin services at 90 days prior to the wedding day.
CATERING
Our team will select an expert caterer to provide culinary delights for your event.
Their services include:
• 2 butler passed appetizers for cocktail hour
• Plated salad and bread baskets served tableside
• Buffet dinner, including 1 entree and 3 sides (A plated dinner option is available for an additional fee.)
• Service staff
• Dishes, flatware, and water goblets

WEDDING CAKE |
SWEET WEDDINGS CAKE DESIGNS
Sweet Weddings Cake Designs will provide a 3-tiered cake, an assortment of cake pops and shooters, and a cake stand from the Intimate Wedding Package options.
INCLUDED DECOR
Table decor, consisting of poly cotton linens and napkins (multiple color options available), chargers (gold or silver), and centerpieces (geometric shaped centerpieces with votives and tall candlestick candelabras) are included in your package. 5 gold or silver votives for cocktail tables are also included for your cocktail hour.
DJ
An expert DJ will be selected for you from the Intimate Wedding Package list. They will provide up to 5 hours of DJ and MC services for your wedding ceremony (if in-house) and reception.
DETAILS
The Intimate Wedding Package is offered for select Friday and Sunday dates in 2023 and 2024 (holiday weekends excluded). Pricing below includes coordination, catering, desserts, rentals, DJ, bar services, and all of the Lightner Museum’s venue amenities! This package cannot be transferred to current bookings or combined with any other discounts or special offers.

All of the staff at the Lightner are beyond amazing. We planned our wedding from 3000 miles away in California. [The Lightner team] made sure to provide us with more than enough information to help us feel comfortable planning things from so far away. We were able to trust and rely on them without hesitation.
As for the venue itself, it was more than a dream come true. We loved utilizing the entire space, allowing our guests to flow through each floor to take in the beauty of the building. All of our guests were in awe of the space. The Lightner allows for so many great photo opportunities, providing vibes from vintage to whimsical, to magical. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. Choosing the Lightner was the best choice we could’ve made for our wedding day.
