Kayla and Jonathan celebrated their winter wedding in St. Augustine in January. Our happy couple hosted their wedding ceremony in the twinkle-lit courtyard of City Hall, making the most of St. Augustine’s Nights of Lights! After their vows, Kayla and Jonathan’s guests were escorted through the Lightner Museum and into the Historic Pool and Mezzanine for their wedding reception. There was no shortage of simple elegance and charm!
Kayla and Jonathan started their special day with a first look in the front courtyard outside of the Lightner gates. Jonathan was overcome by emotion when he saw his stunning bride.
The wedding ceremony was held in the City Hall Courtyard, which is located right next to the Lightner Museum. Kayla’s mom and dad shared the honor of giving her away, while their ring bearers and flower girls nearly stole the show with their cuteness!
Personal touches were found at every corner as guests entered the wedding reception in the Historic Pool and Mezzanine, making Kayla and Jonathan’s winter wedding in St. Augustine extra special for their friends and loved ones.
With the ornate structure of the Historic Pool and Mezzanine, Kayla and Jonathan kept the decor simple, but breathtaking. Just look at that cake!
Family and friends watched from above, while Kayla and Jonathan’s bridal party joined them on the dance floor for their first dance.
After a few tear-jerking toasts, Kayla and Jonathan joined their parents on the dance floor for the traditional father-daughter and mother-son dances.
After all of the wedding day traditions were out of the way, this crew lit up the dance floor and kept the party hot until the very end.
The evening ended with a sparkler exit down the Lightner Museum’s grand staircase. We are so happy to have been a part of this sweet couple’s intimate and elegant winter wedding in St. Augustine!
