Bri and Dane’s July wedding at the Lightner Museum was truly one for the books! From the second we met them, it was obvious that their wedding would be filled to the brim with the love of their family and friends.

The Lightner Museum was the ideal backdrop for the couple’s color scheme of classic black and white with pops of bold magenta. Allow us to showcase all the special moments from Bri and Dane’s wedding, and get ready to be inspired for your own event!

Summer in Florida can be sweltering, but here in St. Augustine, cool breezes off the Matanzas Bay add a lovely tropical vibe. Warm temperatures also mean that our grounds are in full bloom, making for stunning wedding portraits!

Speaking of “stunning,” we were in love with Bri’s stunning floor-length gown by Essense of Australia! The clean, simple lines paired with chic opera gloves were the perfect blend of classic, romantic, and modern.

Bri’s “first look” with her father inside the museum was an unforgettable moment for everyone.

Meanwhile, Dane’s groomsmen spent some quality time in the Otto Lightner Lounge, enjoying a game of foosball and a couple of cold beers.

The couple’s ceremony inside our Historic Pool was utterly striking and completely unforgettable!

After Dane walked down the aisle with his parents, Bri captured the eyes (and hearts) of everyone in the room, as she and her father walked down the Mezzanine steps into the aisle.

For cocktail hour, guests took advantage of one of the hottest wedding trends of 2024: audio guestbooks! This retro phone from After the Tone was a perfect little nod to their historic wedding venue full of unique antiquities.

Guests were also able to enjoy one of three signature cocktails, named after the bride, groom, and their dog, Kevin! Your bar is just one of the many ways you can include your pets on your wedding day.

One of the most amazing things about this St. Augustine wedding venue is the atmosphere of history, luxury, and romance that comes through in every photo.

Originally built as a hotel in 1888 by Henry Flagler, the Lightner Museum’s architecture, lush landscaping, and attention to detail make every moment truly magical.

Guests were welcomed into the reception by a seven-foot photo of Bri and Diane, and a seating chart decorated in simple black and white. A spray of magenta florals added a pop of color that echoed the couple’s sweetheart table.

During cocktail hour, the Historic Pool was seamlessly transformed into Bri and Dane’s dream reception, complete with a black and white dance floor. The Mezzanine was the perfect spot for guests to watch the couple’s first dance.

For the reception, Bri changed into a sleek halter dress and hit the dance floor with her guests. White Tie Events did an amazing job at keeping everyone going long into the night.

Another wedding trend we continue to see in 2024 is late-night snacks. For Bri and Dane, this meant a late pizza delivery! The customized napkins (again, featuring their sweet pup, Kevin) are another great way to include pets in your wedding, even if they can’t be in attendance.

Receptions at the Lightner Museum often include a cozy lounge setup, which is perfect for late-night noshing!

After the evening was over, Bri and Dane shared a private last dance while they basked in the memories of their wedding day. As a wedding venue team, this is often one of our favorite moments!

For one last hurrah, the couple made their grand exit through a shower of cold sparks! Included in the “Dazzle” Party in the Pool upgrade package, these cold spark fountains are the perfect sendoff at the end of an amazing event.

Congratulations, Bri and Dane! We were honored to be part of your big celebration and we wish you nothing but the best for your lives together!
