Emily and Rigo are the epitome of a modern fairytale couple. Their love story begins the way many contemporary romances do, with an online connection! When it came time to propose, Rigo knew that a simple ring wouldn’t do for his modern lady. He got down on one knee in their kitchen with a beautiful pale pink morganite oval ring surrounded by diamonds. Check out this stunner!
We love that this Mr. and Mrs. chose to incorporate many modern elements into their wedding day. Like many couples, they decided to see each other before saying “I do.” How sweet are these pictures from their First Look in downtown St. Augustine?!
The couple added personalized touches to their wedding day by incorporating their favorite colors. Emily’s gown had a very light hint of her favorite color, pink. Rigo chose a very dapper suit in his favorite color, green. Their stunning tablescapes for the wedding reception also combined these two color palettes. As Emily explained, their goal for the decor was for it to be “simple, yet vibrant.”
How awesome is it that they utilized the Lightner Museum History Cards at each place setting? With these complimentary cards, guests get to learn about our gorgeous venue while waiting for dinner to be served.
Well, hello Chef’s Garden! Don’t mind us, just drooling over this buffet setup!
Never to be overshadowed, Creme de la Cocoa brought it home with their dessert display.
Emily shared that while Rigo’s favorite part of the day was their First Look, hers was cutting a rug out on the dance floor. We’re pretty sure once the dancing started, she never sat down again. Get it girl!
Toasts and cake cutting took place on the Mezzanine, which was the perfect vantage point for guests to view these special moments from the dance floor down below.
We loved celebrating with you, Emily and Rigo. Cheers!
