We love when a couple really thinks through all of the little personal details of their wedding day. When Megan and Stephen hosted their wedding at the Lightner Museum they incorporated so many unique little touches. Combined with all of the beautiful emotional moments and incredible decor, this wedding was one for the books!
Megan represented Stephen’s Alma Mater and got her “something blue” all in one. There were plenty of personalized gifts for the family too. How much do you love Mom’s sweet and cheeky handkerchief?
Looks like the boys had a good time taking pictures at Casa Monica before heading to the Lightner 😉
Megan and her father shared a tear-filled first look in one of our outdoor courtyards.
How stunning is that bridal bouquet by Tula Rose?!
The personalized handkerchiefs didn’t stop with the parents. Megan also shared a private moment with her grandfather before heading out to meet her groom.
There was not a single detail missed on their big day. Megan and Stephen welcomed their guests into the wedding ceremony with one of their favorite Bible verses.
How stinking cute are these ring bearers? We are melting.
Following the ceremony, Megan and Stephen snuck away a few romantic moments in the Central Courtyard.
Megan and Stephen’s family and friends were escorted through the Lightner Museum before entering onto the Mezzanine for the wedding reception.
Not a detail was missed, from personalized seating charts to photos from family weddings in years past.
Check out this adorable spin on the classic guest book! All of Megan and Stephen’s loved ones signed a Bourbon Whiskey barrel from the St. Augustine Distillery. What a cool keepsake to have on display as a reminder of your big day!
The wedding reception table decor was understated, yet elegant, with white flowers mixed with lots of greenery. We loved all of the subtle pops of gold that perfectly complemented the Lightner’s gold Chiavari chairs.
Guests watched from above while the newlyweds shared their first dance as husband and wife.
The couple chose to honor many classic wedding traditions — parent dances, cake cutting, and a few sweet toasts. Afterward, it was time to relax and enjoy the evening. With a quick change to the colored uplighting, this crowd was ready to make their way to the Historic Pool to get the party started.
Even the kiddos got in on the action!
So much fun was had by all! When the evening came to an end, Megan and Stephen shared a private last dance to relish all of the special moments of their wedding day.
Congratulations Megan and Stephen! Thank you for putting your personal touches on the Lightner Museum for your wedding day. It was such a joy to share in all of the incredible moments!
